I have recently won two categories of the new British Wildlife Photography awards. My gannet portrait won the animal portrait category and a shot of a lone fallow deer buck at dawn won the habitat. I also received two highly commended awards, one for a gannet in flight (coast and marine category) and one for an image of two stags fighting (animal behaviour).
The ceremony was a nice chance to reacquaint myself with some familiar faces as well as meet some new people, and what an amazing collection of images!
